The lust Us Girls Organization is a social club organized for girls in the upper three classes. lt was conducted this year under the supervision of Miss Lash, our Home Economics teacher. The club membership was increased this year by a large number of new members. October l was set aside for installing the initi- ates into the club. This consisted of all day initiation ceremonies, followed by a pot-luck dinner and a theatre party after school hours. Mrs. Hazel, Miss Lash, and Mrs. Potter served as chaperons. On December 15 the club gave a round and square dance, and on Ianuary 17 sponsored the movie, Pot ot Gold. The officers oi the club are: President, Winona Stairp Vice President, Evelyn Siegel: Secretary, Charlotte Hall, Treasurer, Bertha Corbett, Re- porter, Rita Wilczynskig Advisor, Miss Lash.

Band The band was made up of forty-six members this year. lt displayed its talent at most of the football and basketball games. lt took part in the Annual Spring Musical Festival, and most oi the members participated in the All-County Festival. Mr. Barrett, the director, spent many hours of hard work with the Band, and it has shown such marked improvement this year, that it is the talk of the town. The members of the Band and the entire school appreciate his work very much.
