ABSENT: Eleanor Gill, Luella Geiser, Winona Stair, Phyllys Davoll, Gene Gibson. The Windmill is now six years old and is growing bigger and better with each birthday anniversary. Two hundred copies have been sold at the time of publication. The members of the Senior Class elected the editor and co-editor at the time that the other class officers were elected. The other members of the staff were selected by the co-editors and approved by the class advisor. The Windmill Staff consisted of twenty-two members of the Senior class: Editor, Florentine Gozdowski, Assistant Editor, Rita Nowowieiskip Advertising Managers, Iune Wagner, Paul Cairlp Business Managers, Mil- dred Heuerman, Doris Slumslcyg Circulation Managers, Eleanor Gill, Bernadine Olejownikg Feature Writers, Ruth Arheit, Daniel Chinnis, Sports Editors, Lester Davidson, Harold Cramer: Snap-shot Editors, Luella Geiser, Bonnie Kimber- ly, Gene Gibson, Robert Smithg Photography Editors, Phyllys Davoll, Patricia Katafiasz, Ray Smalley, Ioe Iohnoff, Art Editors, Robert Irwin, Winona Stair. Mrs. White acted as the Advisor. ln editing the Windmill, the staff tried to give every one an opportunity to look back at the classes and activities in which they took part during 1945-46.

STANDING: Raymond Augustyniak, Eleanor Gill, l.aVerne Lawrence, Helen Pfatf, Doris Gilsdort, Violet Gibson, Patricia Borsos, loAnn Campbell, Florentine Gozdowski, Ioseph Iohnofi. The Library Club elected its officers at the first meeting of the year. Those elected were: Presi- dent, Lester Davidson, Vice President, Donald Kulwickig Secretary-Treasurer, Charlotte Gibson, Reporter, Ruth Arheit. The Club visited the Highland Park Library and heard some book reviews given by Miss Brown. Afterwards they had a roast in the Park with Miss Brown as their guest. The Library received forty-seven books this year, These books were chosen from the Ohio Teachers Reading Circle and the Ohio Pupils Reading Circle lists. The most valuable addition to our library this year was a new set of World Encyclopedia, which has helped our students very much in their research work.

The Town Tattler published eight issues dur- ing the school year. The first seven issues were published by a staff selected from the Senior class, and the last issues by a staff selected from the Iunior class. The paper is financed by ad- vertising and sales. During the last two years, the Tattler fund was increased enough to pur- chase a new mimeograph.
