From the physical education class a group of the more agile girls formed a tumbling team. This team put on exhibitions at the county and district tournaments. rf'

They set a new record at the Howard Wood Relays with a time of 5:42.4. The two mile relay team broke the previous time record at Sioux City with 8:42.6, but came in second,
