. x ' P .AN I Q ADMINISTRATION OUR INVESTMENT A Message to Parents and Seniors Youth is a bank where you may deposit your most precious treasures, Hard won wisdom, dreams and pleasures, Youth can guard and protect these gems, Invest them wisely and profit in the end, And when today's youth inherits the earth, Our parental gifts will be iudged for their worth, So the future world, you see Depends so much on you and me. Your attainment of academic standards that en- titles you to graduation indicates your apprecia- tion of the educational opportunity America gives its youth. It now becomes your duty to so live and contribute to mankind, materially and morally, in order that this opportunity for education shall con- tinue to be available to future generations. In so doing you will deserve your heritage and preserve American Democracy as you know it. The world is entangled in differences of opin- ions. These differences can be resolved by seeking and finding the true facts. Follow this pattern throughout life and prevent the confusion of mind that results in wasted effort. Remember it was difference of opinion that resulted in the discovery of America. It will chart the course of the United Nations to world peace, but this chart will have to be redrawn, erased and extend- ed by your artistry and that of generations to COFTTS. DR. J. L. HALDERMAN Superintendent of Schools John C. Spahr, William H. Jones, Vice President, Solicitor Donald W. Lehrkinder, Russell E. Hoehl, President, Elizabeth S. Pusey, Secretary, David C. Wolstenholme, F. Wade Hoff- man, Leslie L. Taylor, Treasurer.
