I have an abiding faith in young people and in teachers and in the desire of typical par- ents to want the best for their boys and girls, This statement from Dr. A. lvl. Alex- ander aptly expresses the feeling of a man who, as a teacher and administrator, re- spects the personalities of those persons with whom he works. His ready smile and wit make him an understanding friend and lead- er to all, This year is Dr. Alexander's first at Central High School, but it is his thirtieth as a member of the teaching profession. He considers these years memorable because of the pleasure gained from working with teachers and students. Mr, Charles Espy, associate principal, shares much of the load of administration. His optimistic outlook on problems, his ready smile, and his good humor help to solve many of the problems around school. Page Twelve lr. .xdkxanzler principa! mr. CAarL.6 gap? .xdruociafe principaf
