Mixed emotions plagued the seniors as they scurried through their last big year. Some counted the days until they would be handed their diplomas, but others felt a wave of sadness as they realized that once this year was past, they would be parted. Led by their counselor, Mr Aubry Chas- tain, seniors made the most of every minute of their final year, The senior talent as- sembly was proclaimed a success. Senior pictures were taken and class rings arrived, Upperclassmen thoughtfully counted rela- tives to be sure that they had ordered enough cards and announcements. ln the midst of plans for Hobo Day, class meetings, and the senior play, prospective grads paused to consider more serious things. Facing them were the same old problems that had confronted every graduate ing senior for the past fiftv years. Would it be college or a iobp Career or home? Seniors forgot their separate worries, however, during their last big week. senior week.
