GUY A. COWDEN CLAUDE RATHBONE PAUL H. IEZZARD E. P. BURMAN L. D. ROSENBAUER Koa:-d of fducativn Few of us realize the amount of time and work put forth by Springfield's Board of Education. Their work is done in an inconspicuous manner, but it is done well. Among the many duties the Board performs are the selection of a school superintendent and the employment of teachers for Springfield schools. We take this opportu- nity to thank these men who give so much of their time for our opportunities and advantages. Six different occupations are represented by the mem- bers of the Board of Education. Mr. E. P. Burman, a jeweler, heads the Board as presidentg Mr. A. R. Stewart is the efficient Board secretary, and Mr. W. H. lpsen is superintendent of buildings and grounds. The other mem- bers are Mr. Guy A. Cowden, district manager of an insur- ance company, Mr. Claude Rathbone, a hardware mer- chantg lVlr.l.A.jeffries, who is connected with the Citizen's Bankg Mr. L. D.
