Science Lflfln Fouryears ago there entered into Springfield Senior High School a class of about three hundred and fifty green and curious freshman. These freshman though green and undeveloped were soon to becomeione of the best classes ever known to the life of Springfield High School. . I When this class first started their new life, they had visions ofa faculty made up of teachers that were absolutely beyond anything but manifesting peevishness, giving assignments that would take hours of nothing but the hardest of studying in order to get just a bare pass. They were sensed asihaving nothing but indiffer- ence as to whether you failed or passed, they left it up to you and no help or pity was shown to any one. , 5 ' After a short time in High School their conceptions of their teachers had absolutely reversed, they had found a true friend in each of their teachers, they had found, not the crabbed and indifferent type of person, but one who was willing to give help when asked and one that gave it graciously and plentifully. As this class grew older they realized more and more the true friendship and help given by every member of the faculty of Springfield Senior High School. At last the time comes when this class leaves a place that holds dear memories of the past, a past never to be forgotten. Among these fond memories our teachers hold a large portion, a faculty never to be forgotten. And now on behalf of the Senior Class of 1926, the Resume staff wishes to extend our utmost appreciation and thanks for the untiring work and help of each member of our faculty.
