MAY A month of many moods and memories May, being the last full month of school was crammed full of last minute fun. For the Seniors it was also filled with the usual rush for last chance compe- tencies and credits. May ended the Spring Sports Seasons with districts meets and playoffs and brought with it potlucks, concerts Spring Week, and the Prom. Seniors set their Caps and began looking toward their futures and the nearing graduation, while the under- classmen looked only towards next year at SHS. The school musical ‘‘Music Man’”’ ended, Rally tryouts were held and the new rallies were picked for next year. When Memorial Day came around everyone knew the end was near at hand and spirits were hard to control. Top right-Everyone kicks back under the sun in the courtyard to hear Shadowfax rock after school. Center-Mr. Albright was worse than his stu- dents when it came to maintaining his cool. APRIL A beginning to an end Everyone knew that April was draw- ing close to the end of the year and the attitudes around the school showed it. The school musical ‘‘Music Man’’ opened in April and was a big success (of course). Intramural softball got off to a good start despite the radical weather. Rally and Hi-lite tryouts began although the actual tryouts weren’t held until May. Class elections were held the last day in April. There were concerts and festi- vals, a Bingo Night sponsored by the Boosters and Open House. The monthly S.A.T. tests were taken and advisee meetings planned for next year classes. Top-Reagan West as Eulele Shinn entertains everyone with her antics. Center-Schmedly Norwop became a write-in candidate for Senior Class President. Far Right-Butch Burleson, Ray Pearson, Pete Acker, and Greg Fenn act natural! Bottom Left-Deni Johnson teaches for rally tryouts.
