To those who went the extra miie, or even the extra inch to be better than average. To those who dare not to be good but to be best. To those who don't say l'lI try, but rather, I wiII. 17 To Mr. Maddox, who dared to discover his hidden talents and abilities. To make something of his free time. To become someone. He cared enough to develop an interest in drawing and now his artwork is highly respected all over the Pacitic North- west. He didn't give up without ever trying. If you don't succeed the tirst time, try again. Success is not in never falling, but in rising every time you fall. That's what makes a winner. Everyone has talent. Take time to find it. The talent is there, you just have to have an interst to succeed, to become something more than ordinary. Remember Henry Ford's advice, Whether you think you can, or you think you can't, you're right. Because of Mr. Maddox's ability and interest in drawing, we have featured some of his finest works in the 1977 Millers Log.
