The rain. Will it ever stop? Will the clouds ever go away and let the sun shine through? Will God ever stop crying, and smile upon the earth? The snow was good for making sculptures as we see here. Don Chase, Melodie Hickman, Russ Ragland, Mike WHuber, Julie Farstad and Bob Glen built the statue of Piggie Wiggie and his friend Chicken Little. The lower shot shows the gingerbread house the boys home ec. class builtto accompany their Christmas cookie party.

Center left, a few snowballs were thrown, all in good fun. Upper right is Dennis Newman. Lower Debi Newman and Gene Perry. There is something about the snow that brings out the kid in every= one. Who can resist the temptation to throw a few snowballs or rub a few faces in it? The big snow of ‘72 as it will be called started on Tuesday, December 5. By night everyone knew that there would be no school the next few days. The snow stayed and the temper- atures dropped into the minus teen degree range and held for the rest of the week. The icy grip did many dollars damage to shrubs and trees in the area. Coldest temp. of the week was down to minus 15.
