Dale Martineau was elected Presidentg VicefPresident was Eunice Cust, Leona Kohler filled the oilice ol' Secretary: Zelma Edmunds handled financial matters as 'lireasurcrz and Norma Kloster was Social Promoter. Mr. Dawe of the 4'lX'lexican Gilt Shop in Eugene presented movies that he had lilmed while in Mexico, at a cluh meeting. Since food is important to this group, a pot' luclx supper was held at school and the entire cluh attended the St. hlarvs game. New members were honored with an initiae tion in their honor. Our Foreign Vlirade commission had a Mexican roulette hooth at the carnival and all the prizes were direct from Mexico. At the numerous parties given hy the club, memhcrs danced hlexif can dances, venturing olvten to do other foreign dances, played hlexiean games such as Poison Bean Bag CSaco de FrijolesD and VVho Stole the Priests llat? and sang popular hlcxican songs. llelvresliments typi cal ol' Mexico were served. They also worked on the one hunclretl tlollar state scholarship to send a girl to Oregon State College. A potluck clinncr, roller skating and theatre parties acltletl to a liull schedule. 'lihe girls have plannetl to make curtains for a fitting room in the home economics department, and servecl tlinner to the Vliil- lamctte Valley Guidance Association at their meeting here.
