OFFICE OCCUPATIONS OFFICERS: Roma Miller. Treasurer-Secretaryg Becky and Jo show their State competition plaques. Jo Ballengee. Presidentg Mari Lynn Geving, Vice-President. OFFICE OCCUP' TIONS The Office Occupations class of '72 consisted of22 senior students. These students attend classes during the morning and gain on-the-job experience in various fields of business in the afternoon. The program is an excellent opportunity to gain experience in the business world and to earn money as well. 0.0. also pro- vides a head start in obtainingjobs after graduation. Some of the activities held by the Office Occupations Club were the sale of Val-O-Grams, a get-acquainted picnic at the lake, an Ice Skating and Pizza party with the Lanphier and Southeast 0.0. classes, several bake sales, and a car wash. At the end ofthe year, the students treated their employers to dinner at the annual Employer-Employee Banquet. Jo Ballengee won first at the State Office Occupations Contest in Communications, and Becky Stewart won second in General Clerical. Both girls represented Illinois in the National Contests held in Columbus, Ohio.
