They were vary successful in that they raised over 3500. The money will be used to send a student abroad. By Gay Clougn HEY FRESHMEN! pam Way Friday l interviewed the freshmen class president. Before thejnterw view, l had noticed that some of the freshmen thought our president was not doing anything. Craig had noticed it too. During the interview the subject was brought up. l-le said that the officers themselves could not run the class nor was the class contributing any ideas for projects. Craig and Susie both urge the freshmen class to become involved. When a project comes up support it, volunteer to help, suggest something.--GET INVOLVED. ti Collecting canned vegetables and fruit goods to give to families whose Christmas dinners might be extra special this year simply because they have this extra food, 2l Bring oid ciothes, toys, or ac? cessories for the mentally retarded children at Lincoln State School. Conditions are really bad at the school and the students can really use the clothes, or 37 Christmas Caroling at the Homestead or Dirksen nursing homes. The girls are required to do two of the three projects and they may do a third for extra points. So tar, the resutts have been very good. l'm sure the end result wilt be, too. Vandalism As most of us know, a vandalism took place early Firday morning and several flats were destroyed. lt was a shame that it happened, but l, and l'm sure the cast does too, send very special thanks to everyone who fix the damage done and get the show back on the road. Those students and families who didrt't show up Firday or Saturday sure missed something great. And those who did show up were probably surprised to see Harvey show up at the last minute. ED SEUNGER was the lucky one to be wrapped up in bunny ears and cot- ton-tail. G. Hershey
