JANUARY SENIORS PRESIDENT Roy Heldemann VICE PRESIDENT George Houska SECRETARY Barbara Lents TREASURER Irvin Williamson January arrives and departs and with it pass from the halls of SHS the mid year freshmen of l946 Though their number is small their high school record is not This class boasts more than its share of athletes honor students and sparkling personalities The class play the prom both have shown their de termination to make their class the best As for intelligence seven members of the class were elected to the National Honor Society as a reward for grades The fellows played an important part in foot ball basketball, track and minor sports Mean while the girls threw their energy into the various clubs and organizations Now that they are gone each to a responsibility of his own choosing be it further education or the business world we feel certain that they will uphold the dignity and reputation of SHS as they did while in these halls Twenty nine their good citizenship as well as their above-average

Violet Brown We are going to miss Violet in the classrooms but we can best shoulder our loss by wishing her all the luck in the world as an office worker.
