COUNSELORS-PETEFISH JOHNSON HAGER LEDERER COUNSFI ORS Luttle do most of us realize the huge iob ut us to see that fourteen hundred students behave themselves get help wuth their problems and have theur schedules arranged so they wull be able to graduate We hope none wull be guulty of taking for granted the assust ance guven to each and every one of us by our four capable and friendly counselors When a student enters S H S he us assigned to a study hall where he wull remaun hus entire four years Thus guves the student the opportunuty to work wuth one counselor and become thoroughly acquainted There are four such study centers two for the boys and two for the gurls Mr Petefush and Mr Lederer serve as study hall supervisors for the boys The gurls have the able guudance of Muss Hager and Muss Johnson These coun selors must look ahead and plan wuth each student hus courses for four years They must selor must know the problems the school lufe and the home lufe of each student Aside from personal contact wuth students they must see to ut that good study condu tuons exust un all study centers From the announcements that are read and posted un the study halls by the advusors ut us easy to keep up wuth the happenings of the school Due to the efforts of our counselors the freshmen fund theur role un Hugh School an easier one The get acquaunted partues have made them feel much more at home Theur parents have also received a vusut some time durung the year from theur chuld s advusor The uob of our four counselors us not an easy one They are expected to play mother father and advuser to us while we are on the S H S campus So let s guve them our thanks for the wonderful help they have been to us Eleven A J keep all individual records, such as grades and special tests. ln other words, each coun- !
