QGGQOQQOGOQOQQ 0 o 490 I OOOQOOOOOOOGQOQOOOOO gamut Glass Banstnrp Four years ago last September twenty seven green llttle freshles entered the Sprlngfield Hlgh School Afton MOTFISOII hlled the honored place of presl dent We chose plnk and green as class colors and have carrled them all through our hlgh school tralmng The last day of school of that year was the most memorlal one We havlng Mrs John A Elvwell for sponsor took our p1cn1c dlnner and went to the State Flsherles Santee Caves and to see the Herllllll ln the evenlng we spent an enJoyable tlme at a party glven 1n honor of the seniors and freshmen by Clara and Herman Olderog Of course we felt consxderably older the next year as we were then sopho mores Many dropped out and some moved away decreaslng our class to SIX teen Mr Johnson was our sponser and many lnterestlng partxes were held that year In our JLIHIOI' year we had fourteen members wlth Adele Loptln as presl dent and Mr Johnson falthfully sponsorlng us agaln The blg event of that year was the play And Bzlly Dzsappeared QIVCH by the Jumor class on February 19 and 20 It proved a blg success the proceeds be1n0 used for the entertalnlng of the semors at a banquet At the begmnlng of our last year only n1ne puplls came to Hll the honoled seats of the semors Lester Nutt was glven the presldentlal chalr w1th Earl Dunn as v1ce pres1dent, and Adele Loptm was chosen secretary and l1I6Z1SL1I'CI' The first thlng of lmportance was choosmg the officers for the annual Many thlngs have happened, lncludmg freshmen 1n1t1at1on, two we1n1e roasts, our sneak day, and also our class play, The Arrival of Kitty And now at the close of our last year of hlgh school, no doubt each of us will say, School days were the best days of my lxfe 90 04900 TWELVE QQQQGQ I5 :.2 -1.
