It was the third year for Mr. Saunders as director of the Science Department, and due to a scheduled rearran- gement of classrooms, his last in Room One of the Freshmen Building. Freshmen were required to take General Science, a study of earth and its surrounding universe. In World Geography the freshmen were made aware of the countries, people, resources and products. Map work was quite common. In World History the sophomores covered man from the dawn of time until World War II with emphasis on correlating the past with its effect on today's society.
