yping Typing, General Business and Accounting classes were under the instruction of Mrs. Joyce Pinnell. A low rumble could be heard throughout the upstairs hall during typing classes as the students efforts were made to increase their typing skills. Computer Minds with the help of calculators, could be observed in the Accounting I class as students learned the real problems of running a business-such as transactions, posting, balancing, discovering mistakes and correcting them. General Business proved to be most rewarding in that students were given the chance to run their own business and make out checks. Too bad the checks weren't real! Mr. Rust, a student teacher from SMSU, helped Mrs. Pinnell with her classes for three months, helping the students as well as learning to be a high school teacher. Mrs. Pinnell's classes were very interesting and the students really enjoyed them. This is a breeze because I have all the answers to the test ! Joyce and James take time for a break while Lisa hopes to finish her work by the end of the hour. A mir?-wf q .1:E'.:::- .'EI.s..-Y3'E :-....' :I -11:13 4 :e::.,3-:u:4,...f!f,-.-,...
