At the start of the year the classes were in complete chaos with everyone wanting to do their own thing and no real supervision. There was much bickering and disorganiza- tion. But by the middle of the year, the classes got it all together. Everyone started working as a team. The newspaper, with several creative writers, turned out several outstanding issues of the Spirit , while the yearbook staff with many unique people, put together their thoughts and ideas to produce one of the best yearbooks ever. We mustn't forget our fabulous J-I class, under the supervision of Judy Barnett, who came to our rescue in our time of need as well as producing a newspaper of their own, The Shamrock .
