board of directors works consmzztly to im rave our schools An hour glass does not hold enough grains of sand to measure the busy hours that Spring- dale's school administrators and school board devote on behalf of the city's young people. We at SHS, unquestionably share the public's appre- ciation of their tireless efforts and keen interest, Expanded tasks faced them this year with the 1962-63 peak enrollment, the need for more space, more equipment, more teachers. The two new elementary schools are already overflowing, necessitating an expansion of Lee school, and plans are under way to continue the expansion that has come about with Springdale's rapid growth in the last ten years. The public school administration and the Board of Education are dedicated men who must be able to sell educational needs to the com- munity. Mr. Kelly's office is a beehive of activity, all turned toward one goal, the giving of one of the best possible educational facilities to Spring- dale's youth.
