Some of the fund- raising projects undertaken by the club were a Christmas card sale, Paraguayan and Grecian dinners, and a fund drive. This year Nick Pantazis, from Greece, and Diana Schneider- man, from Paraguay, were AFS students at Springbrook. Patsy Oman, a Springbrook student was sent to Brazil tor one year. The Library Assistants, un- der the supervision of Mrs. Blott, devoted one period per day assisting in library opera- tions. Although they received no credit for their work, their service was greatly appreci- ated. The Audio-Visual Assistants supervised and operated Springbrook's movie projec- tors, slide projectors, opaque projectors, and you-nome-it projectors. E M lf there are any budding Picasso's in the stu- dent body, the art club is the place for them to be. The members of this club broaden their learning beyond their own artistic scope and acquaint themselves with many other aspects of art.
