Some of the fund- raising projects undertaken by the club were a Christmas card sale, Paraguayan and Grecian dinners, and a fund drive. This year Nick Pantazis, from Greece, and Diana Schneider- man, from Paraguay, were AFS students at Springbrook. Patsy Oman, a Springbrook student was sent to Brazil tor one year. The Library Assistants, un- der the supervision of Mrs. Blott, devoted one period per day assisting in library opera- tions. Although they received no credit for their work, their service was greatly appreci- ated. The Audio-Visual Assistants supervised and operated Springbrook's movie projec- tors, slide projectors, opaque projectors, and you-nome-it projectors. The members of this club broaden their learning beyond their own artistic scope and acquaint themselves with many other aspects of art.
