SPRING VALLEY HIGH SCHOOL 55 DECEMBER Vacation over and everyone looking forward to Christmas. Some of the students are inclined to believe it's vacation still,--es- pecially the Sophomores. -Robley Male Quartette. Alex takes a vacation. Two or three snow balls ftying about the room, but no serious damage done. -Are you going to wear your hair in a curl F Now don't forget! Hurrah for the Christmas holidays. JANUARY Rhool again. Some of the Freshmen girls forgot and brought their Christmas dolls to school, while several of the boys brought little hatchets. A large number of students absent because of severe colds. Oh dear! I've got a cod id by ed. Bernice and Henry W. both have back seats. Ilow did it ever happen ? ? P ? Ask Stella. Ask Duke how he likes Physics: especially the study of sound. An interesting letter received from Mary Kellner. The Seniors all miss her very much. Jolmstone entertainment. Third number of the lecture course. H. S. boys play their first Basket Ball game this year with Elmwood. at Elmwood. HR. K. and ff- 'l come in late. FEBRYARY A remark by one of the Seniors: How I wish that all the students who were with us in our Freshmen Class were going to graduate with us. Our class wouldn't be quite so dull if Arthur IW., Arnold, Eunice, Mary and Bud were here to make things lively. Freshmen sleigh-ride party. They have shown their attachment for the grammar room by inviting the eighth grade. Return game with Elmwood. IW. VV. and J. P. are on the outs. True love never runs smooth. Did you get that P Plum City vs. S. V. Who says S. V. can't play ball. WVhat do you know about George Washington? -Home game tonight with Glenwood. A Sophomore is so interested in reading a letter that he forgot to go to class. This is not the first time it has happened, however. Better hire a stenographer to handle your correspondence.
