Wet ' n Wild The Laker Swim team was young and inexperienced this year, but their drive and determi- nation more than compensated. After a tough season, the team entered the Conference meet as no competition. However, these boys had an extra something inside that came out In full force as they surprised everybody and come out a close second in the Conference. Victory Goes to the Worthy — And our Varsity Cagers proved to be worthier than most. After a slow start with a new coach, the Lakers unveiled a stone-wall defense which had no rival. Defense and hustle proved to be the name of the game as the team improved weekly and beca me a powerful and devastating basketball machine.
