Laker foes had a bad year as Spring Lake wenr to the feared Texas Wishbone at- tack and a stubborn defense that was second in the league. Under the direction of Var- sity Coach, Mr. Tom Hickman, and his able assistants, Mr. Tom Grabinski and Mr. Larry Aldridge, the Lakers rolled to a 7-2 record overall and second in the Seaway. Little Lakers The JayVees rolled up an impressive 38-26 Victory over the Wayland Wildcats in the last game of the 1971 season. This to off a 2-5-2 record. Next year these men will step up to varsity football after a season ' s guidance from coaches Don Rohn and Mike Secory.
