Foreword Growth is Evident It seems that just about everything is grow- ing, The population is growing, the cities are growing, and schools are growing. Spring Hill is no exception. People are moving into our community faster than ever before. The Spring Hill School has had to expand greatly to accom- modate the increasing number of students. We, the students at Spring Hill, are growing not only in numbers, but in many other ways. The school is a place where we come to grow in maturity, because we associate with other people. We learn to think for ourselves and to make decisions. Growing up has its bright spots, like passing an English test, making a lst place in band, making a perfect angel food cake, and making the varsity squad in basketball. Growing up also has its disasters, too, like learning that ou.r parents found a letter in the mailbox that was sent by the school, learning that only one point was needed for a trip to regional, and having out best friend steal our date to the athletic banquet. These are all part of growing up, and each one of us must grow in our own way. Right now, we might be wishing we were grown already, but the time will come when we will be wishing we had stopped to enjoy our youth.
