DOWELL High School Principal Principals render The responsibilities of school principals include wholesome food, physical well-being, course of study, efficient recreation, and transportation for the school child. They supervise fire drills, regu- late rules for conduct and contests, make teacher assignments, and create an atmosphere of learning. Mr. Dowell presents Interscholastic League medals to Glen Haywood and Sherman Mathis.

WILLIAMSON Superintendent The superintendent supplies in- formation, collects taxes, formu- lates policies, maintains public relations, and takes a keen inter- est in the students. He is a friend to all. He knows the names of the kindergarteners, he listens to the problems of the intermediates, and encourages the high schoolers.
