Kayettes I will, as a member of the Kansas Association for Youth, endeavor to maintain the high ideals of my organization, begins the Kayette Pledge. The girls try to fulfill these high ideals in service to others by Christmas caroling, visiting the old folks, and contributing to Meals for Millions, not only for the betterment of their community, but also themselves. 0 fears and Board The responsibility of heading the committees of their club belongs to the Kayette board members. As in any organization, they see that the club's program of the year's activities are carried out to their fullest, and they do a good job, too. A Drama Club A new club this year is the Drama Club under the direction of Mr. Harmon and Mr. Robertson. The group presents the class plays, as well as the one-act plays for competition. By choosing quality play materials, the club endeavors to bring greater interest to the art of dramatics. To remain qualified for club activities, members must maintain above-average grades. Officers this year are as follows: Richard Beets, Presidentg Margie Newton, Vice-Presidentg Phyllis Brooks, Secretary-Treasurer, Pam Douglas, Reporter: and Brian Beach, Student Council Representative. Music Club ist si M ' ' fl W Q 7 '12 Another group concerned with the arts is the Music Club. Each member must have a solo prepared to give whenever called upon to do so by the school or community. The club tries to create a better appreciation of music, not only through performing, but also by sponsoring musical activ- ities. This year's officers include: Judy Flett, President: Linda Sheldon, Vice-Presidentg Eldonna Lovelett, Secretary-Reporterg Andy Cochran, Treasurer: Linda Bilyeu, Student Council Represen- tative.
