HARMON know they will get a good workout with parts of speech, verbals, and diagraming, and will do plenty of writing before the year is done. Speech and Spanish classes also appreciate the fact that they earn their grades, but because each one knows this is beneficial to him he simply buckles down and works. Harmon - Peer Do you remember how to deagram sentences? These English students could probably refresh your memories because of extensive work in this area. Future homemakers get a well-rounded back- ground by taking all four courses in home- making from MRS. AVERY. Fine points of table setting are practiced by the first year girls and meat cutting is demonstrated by Mr. Kuhn to sophomores. Junior girls re- ceive advanced instruction which includes home nursing. Senior girls begin to think of the years after school, so they plan and furnish their dream homes, choose wedding dresses, and observe and entertain pre- schoolers. Avery - Hallmark Because of three new teachers right out of college with fresh ideas on use of the library, MRS. HALLMARK has been especially busy helping students find information and assist- ing in the choice of reading materials. Reports come easier in the library. HI
