Winship It is indeed a privilege for me to be allowed to write a few words of commendation and a few words of advice in your book. As this book is a partial record in pictorial form of your last year of high school, I am sure your life will reflect those desirable characteristics that you have developed as you have matured. I hope that we of the administration and faculty have had apart inthis growth, and that I know you have a part in lengthening the shadow of this institution, After twelve years of preparation, you now stand on the threshold of greater development. Life is like that - one of it’s Most wonderful attributes is that a person may always stand on the threshold of something better. It all depends on you as an individual and on your determination to achieve, History is man’s record of doing better or worse and its pages are filled with people like Albert Schweitzer who completed several successful careers, who gave the most, and who lived life to the fullest. Your graduation is arecord of your success, 1 wish you all of the success you have the capacity to achieve. I hope for your happiness throughout life. ASSISTANT SUPERINTENDENT Mr. L. E. Summer practices every day helped prepare Spring's cheerleading team for the National Cheerleader School held at S.M.U., in Dallas. Spring's team received honors in divisional competition and open competition where they were competing with over 1,000 schools.
