BIG SPRING STAGES CENTENNIAI. CELEBRATION The script of history has linked one ame more than any other with the first ecorded days of the big spring. The name is that of Randolph Barnes Iarcy, U.S. Army, whose log of an official military mission in the Southwest mentions ie encountering of a spring, which he :und flowing from a deep chasm in the ,mestone rocks into an immense reservoir f some fifty feet in depth. Schools have played an important part nthe advancement of Big Spring. On youth lay, the schools had thousands ofstudents narticipating in parades.
