His descriptions were detailed, nd readers of his report today would be mused at his reference to the Plains area s the great Sahara of North Americatr ast and tracklessrtand must continue un- ihabited forever. If we could have had our way, we would have kept Ben here with us, but we must realize that there i S s omeone much more powerful than we are who had a reason for takin him E from us. Ben was a junior in Big Spring High School at the time of his death. His main i t t . . . . n eres was in the band in which he played the clarinet. Because of the good deeds we remember Ben for, it is clearly visible that if we live our lives as We should we will be b a le to join him againg not in a school building, but in that place where there is no such thing as death. 2 ZW ky M E.H.!l THU YSEU A Souflowesfern Organization Owned and O peratea' by Soufhwesterners for you Souibwesterners DEPARTMENT STORE Phone 933 Cuin Crigsby, Manager WAITS JEWELRY STORE 115 E. 3rd--A gift for every occasion--Ph. 985 l u I 1- r 1 1 Telephone 230 211 Main Street Home Phone 1356 THE RECORD SHOP oscAR GLICKMAN, OWNER Victor, Bluebird, Columbia, Okeh, Decca and Capitol Records Popular and Classical Albums Big Spring, Texas DIAMOND IMPOITERS ZQ!-nf Your ls Good At MELLINGER'S Big Spring's Largest Store for Men and Boys MEN and BOYS' CLOTHING SHOES AND FURNISHINGS Phone 815 Big Spring, Texas gqvggggw- Ny: is isp-u.,-if 19' ' . .. , ,-vm g ' W' 1' , I yy A A K ,V TALLY ELECTRIC COMPANY COMMERCIAL 8: RESIDENCE WIRING YOUR WESTINGHOUSE DEALER APPLIANCES laundrornats ranges radios refrigerators THOMAS TY PEWRITER AND OFFICE SUPPLY Office Equipment-Royal Typewriters R.
