Williani Hill MATHEMATICS DEPARTMENT Programed learning and related Math III and IV are two new additions to the curriculum of the Math Department this year. Since there is no lecturing in Programed learning, each student is able to work at his own pace. Related Math is geared for the student who is not too strong in Math. Elementary analysis, plane and solid geometry, and algebra are offered. Through the advanced program some students are able to receive advanced placement in college. FOREIGN LANGUAGE DEPARTME T Pauline Benoit Don Adams Barbara Becker Knowledge of a foreign language is becoming increasingly Dallas Blagg important in our shrinking world. Three-year courses in French, Latin, and Spanish are offered by this department. The everyday class was supplemented by extensive use of the language lab. Here the students can improve their pro- nunciation by recording their own voices and their com- prehension by listening to tapes.
