Junior - Senior Play The Junior-Senior play, Moun'rain Gal, was produced on November 22 and was well received by 'fhe public. The play was also financially suc- cessful, neiiing approximalely S80 which was splil beiween 'rhe Juniors and Seniors. The play was a hillbilly comedy, +he plol cenfering around an orphan girl, Deedee, played by Belly Baldwin. Aclopled by an old mouniain couple, Ma and Pa Lindsay, played by Grela Coffman and Jerry Fox, Deedee desires an educaiion which she is unable 'ro achieve. Mr. and Mrs. Gordon, rich iourisfs, played by Delberi Wilson and Shirley Esslinger, mee? Deedee, become inieresled and persuade ihe Lindsays lo lei Deedee go io Their home +0 acquire an educafion. I+ is laier discovered Thar Deedee is really 'lhe C5ordon's own clauqhler whom lhey had losf many years before. Good comedy siiualions were well handled by Sophie, Oby. and Caialpa, played by June Busse, Charles Miller, and Jane? Engles and lhe dashing hero is McKay, a lawyer, played by Jay Archer who wins The heari and hand of our heroine, Deedee. As in all cases of make believe -everyihing ends happily for everyone.
