The Student Cooperative Association Council is composed of four officers and two representatives from each homeroom class. The organization plans to carry out the various objectives, chosen by the council, which include: Sponsoring a CARE project Sponsoring a student of the month Attending District and State Conventions Presenting a study of Parliamentary Procedure Scheduling assembly program. The main purpose of the organization is to achieve more school spirit and to encourage participation in school functions and activities of the student body. The Virginia State Certificate of Achievement has been presented to the Spottswood organization for three consecutive years. It is the school ' s desire to continue the outstanding work of the Student Coopera¬ tive Association.
