Both items are permanent reminders of friendships and events, special and commonplace. Only the settings and costumes differ. ln this 1973 edition of the SHIELD, the staff h'as included some reminders of bygone days, called atten- tion to students and staff members who collect antiques, and spotlighted others whose present activities are only modern versions of old pastimes, illustrating the wisdom of the Frenchman who once wrote, The more things change, the more they remain the same.
