BACK ROW: Don I-Iowarter, Dennis Sarginson, Bruce Hartzell, Pam O'Too1e, Mike jones, Representatives of each recognized Greek organization on campus are required to attend Weekly meetings of the Greek Council, governing body of SRC's fraternities and soror- ities , Besides coordinating activities for the groups, the Council sponsors Greek Week each semester, supervises rush and pledge periods, and assists in civic charity drives . Par- ticipants in all -school activities, the Greeks won election for three of five freshman senators in the fall. All but one officer of Student Senate are members of Greek organi- zations . The Council presented a plaque to the school on which the names of Outstanding Greek of the Year will be inscribed. The plaque is a memorial to Daniel Lee Klendworth, Phi Kappa Sigma member who died from injuries suffered in a car accident during his fresh- man year . 26

Zeta Chi Zeta Chi was founded as a social-service or- ganization for SRC Women in 1966 . Besides its social activities, the sorority supports a Ko- rean orphan and assists community workers in raising funds for the American Cancer So- ciety and the March of Dimes . First semester officers included: Mary Fee- ser, presidentg Beverlee Webb, Vice president Martha Feeser, secretaryg Pam O'Toole, treasurerg Eleanor Miles, pledge trainerg Sheila Moore, sergeant -at -arms .
