The Uwe guniot play iuniors presented a play entitled Betty Jane From Punlcin Lane on March 3-4, I954. It was attended by an appreciative crowd. The play was a three-act comedy concerning Betty Jane who comes home from the city in time to save her aunt from being cheated out ofa large sum of money. Wanda Rogers, president of the class, presented Mrs. Judd with an orchid and gold candle holders for her patience and co-operation in working with us. The following named cast presented the play: Richard Drennen as Johnny Finch, a country boy. Jenny Willard as Auntie Bean, darling of Punkin Lane. Shirley Kinnison Lois Rorebeclc as Gertie Gilbert, a city girl. Wilbur Perry Arnold Rogers as Gordan Gilbert, an artist. The officers are: president, Shirley Kinnison, vice-president, Vera Oyler, secretary and treasurer, Judy Tracy. Mrs. Judd is sponsor of the organization. Our cheerleaders are Judy Tracy, Rosslyn Wise, Henrietta Chrhtowski, and Vera Oyler. Their uniforms are red sweaters and red and black divided skirts. The girls chose white blouses and black skirts as their pep squad uniform.
