In honor of the fiftieth anniversary of Spiceland Academy the senior class presents the first volume of the Academian to the students, and many friends and patrons of the Academy. We have put forth our best efforts and beg that our readers will exercise charity towards our numerous mistakes. It has been our intention in compiling this book to make it of interest not only to the students but to every one interested in the school. In order to do this we have centered the contents of this Annual around the history of the Academy.
