The Stores Division KS-ll is responsible for receipt, stowage, transfer, and inventory of various types of materials aboard SPERRY. Food Service Division QS-21 personnel are responsible for preparing and serving 250,000 meals a year to SPERRY's enlisted men. The division is also responsible for the support of Submarine Squadron THREE submarines transfer provisions worth approximately S5l6,000.00 per year which numbers 28,000 - 30,000 line items. SPERRY was the Second and Third runner up for the Ney Award for excellence in food service the past two years and is COMSUBPAC's nominee for the 1972 Ney Award. The Shipis Service Division provides a multitude of services to both SPERRY and other units of Submarine Squadron THREE. These services include. the operation of a laundry, diycleaning plant, tailor shop, two barber shops, the Ship's Store, clothing and small stores, and a soda fountain. Dispursing Division CS-41 provides full disbursing service to SPERRY personnel, Submarine Squadron Three, and other units as assigned by COMSUBFLDT ONE. Payrolls and vouchers paid exceed 39,500,000 annually. Stewards Division CS-SJ is responsible for operation of the Wardroom Mess and maintenance of the Wardroom spaces. Stock Control Division CS-61 processes all paperwork pertaining to requisitions, receipts, issues and inventory validation of SPERRY's 1.9 million dollar general stores inventory. In addition, the division does OPTAR and ROV accounting for itself and attached units of Submarine Squadron THREE. 47 SUPPLY DEPARTMENT
