Everybody up! We're on our way to San Francisco, the home of the Golden Gate Bridge. We breakfast at a roadside cafe, and to our amazement we have soft lilting music and sweet, sultry tones to accompany our toast and coffee. We investigate and find that it is Helen Surfus at the piano and Shirley Ritenour singing. After Shirley finishes her song, she tells us that they are both working there in the evenings and raising their families in the day time. What a surprise when we learn that their employer is Madolyn Reid! Mady is staying in Los ,Angeles at the present and attending U.-C. L. A. with her new husband, Bob. Let's hop aboard our saucer and go down to Los Angeles. Ah, yes, there's the campus! We'll never be able to find Mady in this big place. Ah, there's a familiar face. Why: it's Carolyn Kimes! Carolyn, how are you? Whatare you doing now? So you're the professor of Commercial Subjects at U. C. L.A. That is quite a position. How do you like your work? Fine, except when my students play hooky as Madolyn Reid did today! Well, I guess that means there is no hope of seeing Mady today. It's high time we were headed back East, don't you think? Let's set the controls, and away we go! The magic saucer isn't stopping in Indiana this time. We're shooting straight for New York, and La Guardia Airport. Watch out for that airplane! Whew! Almost hit us! We've got to see who that reckless pilot is. There he is now. So! lt's Jack Haas! Jack tells us that he is the top flight pilot at La Guardia now. That is reason enough to forgive him for our near mishap, don't you think? Good luck on future missions, Jack! I..et's take this taxi into New York. Here we are on Wall Street. I wonder if there is anyone here from little, old Spencerville '? There goes a Spencerville graduate now. Hey, Art, slow down! What's your hurry? Oh, you're a lawyer now and you've got a case in court in ten minutes '? All right, we'll forgive you this time. Bye, now. Back in the saucer again, northeast toward Connecticut this time. There, in the town of New London we land in front of a new Clinic. As we enter we are greeted by the superintendent of nurses, Pat Akey. Pat enjoys her work and says that she likes the location, so we have found another happy graduate of 1952. It's getting time to head back home again. Yes, there's no place like home. But wait, we seem to have missed one of the Seniors somewhere along the way. Oh, here she is. Right under our noses in the town of Spencerville. She has just settled down in our little town to raise her family and be a housewife. Patricia Timmerman is the only one who didn't stray very far from home. JOURNEY ENDED! It seems that these Seniors of 1952 are to be scattered like chaff in the A wind to every corner of our country and yet we're betting that they will never forget Spencerville High School, their Alma Mater.
