SENIOR PROPHECX' In the snnimcr of 1930 while I was traveling' in Inilia I hap- penetl to enter a novelty shop in t'alcntta. The lirst 'thing' that .lrew my attention was a sign which saiml that all questions of the past. present. or future wonlcl he answereml. To he sure I was yery curious concerning this sign anml asked the keeper the particulars. He led me into an uiiflei-groiiinl room. A small light hnrnetl in a niche in the wall of the room. The keeper then built a tire in a hollow in the floor. extingnishetl the only lamp burning and bade me ask any question of the past, pres- ent or future. Naturally my first question was VVhere are my classmates of Spencervillc High School? The keeper threw a snhstancc into the tire that marle a :lense smoke. Finally bc- fore my very eyes was the most wonrlerful sight. The scene was in the city of Pliilanlt-lpliia. where in front of a lnuilmling' was the sign, VVilmot Art Studio. As it chang- cfl to the interior of the hnihling. I saw the many productions of the artist. Looking a little more closely I noticed the artist in the hack of the room at work and recognized him to he no other than my 11+-ar ohl frientl, Faye Wiliilot. As this sc:-nc fatletl I saw another. It was a low valley where a slow train was creeping along. and as it passed, I notic- etl in one Lot the wintlows a gentleman. seemingly taking life easy. our Paul Wasson. I closesl my eyes for a moment and when I opened them a- gain, I saw a large school building. The scene inunediately changed to the interior. A Domestic Science kitchen was shown. In the niitlst of many young' students I saw Marie Hull. who was superiutentliug the work of the girls. Before the picture- fatleml a young' man entered the kitchen. To my great surprise l recognized the man to he a graduate of S. H. S. Prohahly he hall gramluati-il a year or so later. I have lieard
