Freshmen Class OFFICERS: President, Larry Reynolds: Vice President, Dick Miller, Secretary and Treasurer, Sandy Maurer, Student Council, Leland Schnelle and Karen Boedecker With fourteen pupils coming from Jennings, the freshmen class had a total en- rollment of eighty-two: thirty-four boys, forty-eight girls. On October 20, 1956, the class enjoyed the class trip to Columbus, Ohio. They visited the zoo, airport, the State Capitol, and the museum at Ohio State U- niversity. The class would like to express its apprecation to those who helped them and to our sponsors, Miss Deemer and Mr. McDorman.

The class would like to express its sincere thanks to their sponsors-Mrs. Patterson, Mrs. Shaffer and Mr. Brookhart. Without their guidance the year would not have been a success.

One was their hay- ride and wiener roast at the home of Roger Burns- field. The other was their class trip to Lima, Ohio. They spent the afternoon going through the Sewage Disposal Plant, The County jail, and the Lima News.
