STRA YER JOHN ALLEN WILGES Forrest, the teaser of our class, was a very active worker in F.F.A. being a member of the Parliamentary Procedure and State Judging Teams. He partic- ipated in track and chorus. An active member of G.A.A. and F.H. A., Mac served on a Reception Com- mittee, was a Prince of Peace Contest winner, a Majorette, and Echoes Staff worker. Jean, the other half and a popular Majorette for four years, had voice for the Prince of Peace Contest, Athletic ability for G.A.A., and merit for the Honor Society. John is very friendly and gay, and smiles for everyone along the way. As manager he support- ed the team and is always on the beam. FORREST EUGENE KING MAXINE KAY SPRAGUE MARY L. KIRKENDALL DONALD G. FAIRBURN On the Echoes Staff Lucy worked and laughed. She was a librarian and on the Journal News Staff. She liked to sing and helped to pick announcements for the Senior gang. If your car is below par and you're going far, take it to Don at Marathon. There he will greet you with smiles that will last for many a mile.

Jack, our history kid, was representative to the Student Council two years, class president, wait- er, and member of aReception Committee. The football and basketball teams would have miss- ed him greatly. Dink served on a Reception Committee mak- ing flowers. She was a waitress, servant of G.A. A., office assistant, and a Prince of Peace par- ticipant. Squeaking away in orchestra was her hobby. LAURETTA JEAN FRONK ROGER THOMPSON Ace , one of the Senior Class jokers, was a loyal baseball follower. Football has also claim- ed his interest and what could the student council have done without him? Stretch not only could play a French horn, but oh what an athlete she was. In F.H.A., Chorus, Prince of Peace, and on the Echoes Staff she could not be beat! JOHN STANLEY ARTHUR SHIRLEY WIENKEN An active, responsive girl, Jean's in- terests varied from intra1'nura1s,G.A.A., Prince of Peace, D.A.R. Test, to sec- retary of F.H.A. On a Reception Com- mittee she slaved her time away! F.F.A. has been one of Roger's interests the year round. Baseball was one that came in the spring. Basketball and track are Iim's main interests. As football manager he helped the team. The Var- sity S is the club to which he belonged. Jane, one of the twins,was four years a Major- ette. She was a good sport, active in G,A.A., and was a Junior High Cheerleader in her fresh- man year. JAMES WILGES JANET LOUELLA STRAYER ELOISE KAY KOHLI WILLIAM L. MORRIS Kootsie took pictures for the Echoes Staff. In G,A,A, and F,H,A. she had many a laugh. She was a librarian and a member of our High School Chorus. Lois helpedina big way when she was the mother in the Junior play. She was also main soprano singer of the Chorus. In G.A.A. and intramurals she carried a load. Doc, our star pig-raiser, has been active in F. F.A. and was 'Papa' in the Junior Play. He also served on the winning Parliamentary Procedure Team. Wi1lie, a farmer he's sure to be, has supported F.F.A, and Parliamentary Pro- cedure Teams. His interest has been in sports, and his vocal ability burst forth in Speech and Chorus.
