Nellie, as homecoming attendant, was favored. She worked hard in G.A.A., as Journal News Staff typist, and as a Prince of Peace Contestant. As an Usher and Program Committee girl she was needed. Lewie , our black,wavy-haired classmate with a personality plus trait, seems to be of the quiet type. I-Ie's really a fine person at heart, NELLIE ROSE PAGLOW LEWIS E, GOSSARD Bill, the Romeo of the Senior Class, is interested in sports, was shop reporter for Journal News Staff, and could be seen snapping pictures for the Annual. He meets no stranger. As Majorette she did stepgon the Echoes Staff was a typistg F.H.A., G.A.A. and the Peace Contest have been her in- terests, but if you need shoes, call on Carolyn! WILLIAM F. HAMILTON CAROLYN LOUISE ADAMS ROXANNA LONG C. CRAIG BOYER Roxanna's fine personality showed in her Band, Chorus, G.A.A., and F.H.A. work. She was an Honor Society member, placed as one of the first in the Prince of Peace Contest, and holds her ground in discussions. Sug was a member of the State Judging Team and was a State Farmer, too. He has been an all-around F.F.A. and Band member. We all like Sug , and so would you.

Janet, our composer of Senior articles, was the young bride in the Junior Play. She has spent four years in F.H.A. and G.A.A., and she has been a faithful librarian. Mary, our short-stuff of the class, has been in G.A.A. the past four years. Shorty was busi- ness manager ofthe Echoes' staff and participat- ed in the Prince of Peace Contest, JANET M. MACK JUDITH ANN HARBISON DIXIE HARTER Jude , a Prince of Peace winner, was a busi- ness manager for the Echoes, capable office assistant, F.H.A. president, active member of G.A.A., and a grouch in the Junior Play. Dixie, favorite tympani drummer,was a G,A,A, and F.H.A. member, one of the Business Man- agers, on the Honor Banquet her junior year, and took part in the Prince of Peace Contest.

Jack, our history kid, was representative to the Student Council two years, class president, wait- er, and member of aReception Committee. The football and basketball teams would have miss- ed him greatly. Dink served on a Reception Committee mak- ing flowers. She was a waitress, servant of G.A. A., office assistant, and a Prince of Peace par- ticipant. Squeaking away in orchestra was her hobby. LAURETTA JEAN FRONK ROGER THOMPSON Ace , one of the Senior Class jokers, was a loyal baseball follower. Football has also claim- ed his interest and what could the student council have done without him? Stretch not only could play a French horn, but oh what an athlete she was.
