rioio:oi0icnioi4rioi4rio1oi4li1nC E C H O E S Doicrioifrisnioioilwioioifrioieriirioioiox Our School Our present school was dedlcated on February 4 1927 The budding was completed at a cost of 3590 000 Through the efforts of the Board of Educatlon and the W P A four new rooms were added to the mam bu1ld1ng 1n 1937 Because of the crowded condltlons ln the grade bulldmg thls addltlon became necessary to brlng the seventh and eighth grades to the hlgh school buxldlng Th1s add1t1on cost S9 000 The Board of Edu catlon has also remodeled our bus garage to make another shop room ln the south end of the bu1ld1ng It has one thousand square feet of floor space and when equlpped w1l1 be used for courses ln mechanical arts and woodworklng Our present school system was chartered Aprll 14 1905 from the Commlssloner of Common Schools of Ohlo On March 1 1941 our school recelved membershlp ln the North Central Assoclatlon of Colleges and Secondary Schools In order to be accepted as a member m thls assocla tlon lt IS necessary for the varlous departments of the hlgh school mclud mg the admlnlstratlon lnstructlon llbrary program of studles rooms and equlpment bu1ld1ngs and grounds to be xnspected by thelr state super v1sor The assoclatlon w11l unhesltatmgly commend students from these schools to any college or umverslty 1n the terrltory of the North Central Assoclatlon Under thls system we have at our dlsposal dlfferent depart ments that offer us many opportunltles We contmually have been addlng new equlpment to these departments we are sure that through the co operation of the teachers and puplls they wlll contlnue to be lmproved H1 the future We the Class of 41 feel that It has been through the efforts and co operation of our teachers and the Board of Educatlon that have made lt posslble for us to complete our hlgh school educatlon P886 3 , . , . 1 . . . , - . . .
