Decizwzlzon The Senror Class rs honored to dedrcate the l957 Panorama to two teaehers who wrll always be remembered for therr farmess scholarshrp and frrendly persorralrtres MISS Jeanette Mc Adam rs well known to all at Spencerport as a teacher of hrstory and Senror Class Advrsor Followrng her graduatron from Barker Hrgh School she attended Elmrra College Then she took the course rn lrbrary work at Geneseo State Teaehers College Mrss Mc Adam also has a master s degree from Syracuse Unrversrty Mlss Mc Adam s frrst teachrng posrtron was at Lyndonvrlle Hrgh School where she taught one of her favorrte courses Economrcs Followrng her years at Lyndonvrlle MISS Mc Adam eame to Spencerport where she has taught for erght years Amerrcan I-lrstory World Hrstory and that famous P O D QProblems of Democraeyj class are the courses rn whrch stu Mr Mrchael Fedoryshyn rs also famrlrar to all of us as a member of the Socral Studres Department Senror Class and Varsrty Basketball Coach After hrs graduatron from East Hrgh he attended the Unrversrty of Rochester for a year Then the Army beckoned He served wrth the Infantry rn the Phrlrpprnes and the Marranas He later transferred to the Mrlrtary Polrce and frnally to the Arr Force Retumrng to the Unrversrty of Rochester rn l947 Mr Fedoryshyn was actrve rn sports becomrng basketball captarn rn hrs Senror year He completed hrs Unrversrty work rn l95O Srnce the fall of 1950 Mr Fedoryshyn has been a teacher at Spencerport Central Hrs teachrng schedule now rncludes nrnth grade Socral Studres World Hrstory and Amerrcan Hrstory In 1951 Mr Fedoryshyn assumed the varsrty basket ball coach s task here at Spencerport and has performed thrs task capably The members of the Senror Class are srncerely grateful to these two teachers for therr gurdarrce and rnterest rn us durrng our hrgh school years We won t forget them and we hope they wrll remember us 4 . .
