From Row G Preston Vuce Presudent Mr Fems Row2 Kenyon Socua1Cha1rman Stroh Student Councul Benedxct Soc1alChaurman Kerwun Treasurer Row3 Alongl Secretary M Brower Student Councul Absent Russell Presudent class history E looked up one day to see the spotlught of Senuor lufe shunung brughtly un our eyes There was a vouce un the back ground that sand, Smule and seconds later a cluck and a flash followed -our Sensor puctures had gust been taken Thus lught mught well be our class symbol, havung been turned on un our Freshmen year and glowung more brughtly wuth each of our years together Our Senuor year had begunl We welcomed the Freshmen by guvung them a get-acquaunted party Soon we held class electuons and unstalled Joanne Russell as Presudent, Gary Preston Vuce Presudent, Peggy Kerwun Treasurer, Jo Alongu Secretary and Eleanor Beneduct and Bob Kenyon socual chaurmen Mary Lou Bower and Deanna Stroh were our Student Councul representatuves Mr Ferrus was our advusor Then one dark, cold nught un November the curtaun went up on our Semor play entutled 'The Luttle Dog Laughed whuch proved to be very successful, under the leadershup of Mr Betlem Early un the fall we had a successful statuonery sale Our 'top salesman was Carole Gullman As the lught shunes back to our Junuor year we see Duck Zuegler callung the meetungs to order wuth Joanne Russell McGowan were our Student Councul representatuves Socual Chaurmen were Ann Havull and Roger Sleught After many seruous debates, we funally decuded on the class rung we wanted They arruved un January One of our bug moments was wunnung the competutuve assembly pruze along wuth the Sophomores wuth our play about an Egyptuan tomb The lught shone blue the nught of our Junuor Senuor Ball the Serenade un Blue, whuch was a bug success Our class advusors were Muss Verbrudge and Mr Jordan Reflectung on our Sophomore year, we elected Glen Muller as President Mary Lou Brower Vuce Presudent and Ann Havull , our Secretary Treasurer, was guven charge of all our money Joanne Russell and Bob Cubutt were our socual chaurmen, and Joyce Lundsay and Doug Kurby our Council representatuves Under the durectorshup of Joanne Russell, w won the competutuve assembly Another honor was wunnung the competutuve cheerleadung assembly We held an evenung party and sponsored a few dances to wund up our Sophomore year Advusors were Mrs Brandaur and Mr Farnsworth Lookung back to our Freshmen year, we see Roger Sleught turnung on the lught whuch was to guude us through our four wonderful years of hugh school It was plaun to see that much lught was needed Assustung Roger were Mary Hawkuns Vuce Presudent, Mullue Hammar Secretary Treasurer, and Mary Lou Brower and Bob Kenyon socual chaurmen Voucung our troubles un the Councul were Joyce Lundsay and Cary Presron We were welcomed warmly by the Senuors at a party and we made many new fruends Our four years at S C S have been happy ones The studues, actuvutues, and sports have kept us busy, unterested and contented We are now ready to advance unto the future where many new lughts, representung varuous careers and professuons, beckon Farewell fellow classmates and thanks to our helpful advusors and teachers who gave us much needed guudance 20 I .
