Its purpose is to foster a spirit of loyalty, friendship and cooperation of members to their school and to encourage high standards and efficiency in office professions. Eligibility for membership is based on scholarship, leadership, personality and character of the young lady. The Alpha Iota motto is Study to show thyself approvedf' II Timothy 2:15. Phi Theta Pi F raternit Phi Theta Pi founded in 1926, is an organization which is dedicated to its members and Spencerian College. Members enthusiastically support the civic pro- grams of the Milwaukee area with an aggressive attitude. We are proud of our history which has established the annual Winter Carnival, the biggest Semi-Formal dance at Spencerian, the Sweetheart Ball, a Christmas Party for underprivileged children, and many. other events. Aside from satisfying demands of our own members, we are frequently called on to endorse school-sponsored activities. It is this spirit of cooperation which has lasted many years and will insure the success of all its future endeavors.
