FORE WORD The Class of 1968, united in our heritage, looks back at the past and expresses hope for the future. It is significant that the school year 1967 - 1968 marks the FIRST ONE HUNDRED YEARS of public education in Colum- bus. It is also significant that the graduating class of 1968 is ai part of that history. Many persons were involved in helping us to reach this important milestone in our lives. I n view of this, it is with a feel- ing of deep appreciation that we recognize, in this edition of the SPENCERIAN, the educational channels through which we have passed . . . to stand now on the threshold of graduation from our beloved Spencer High School. The pleasant visits which we made to our former schools with our photographer brought back many happy memories of the days spent in each of them during our formative years. We are a part of each school and each school is a part of us.
